Chan had his first football game today and it was so fun! He did a great job, made some tackles and deflected the ball from being caught by the other teams receiver. They lost but all the boys were still in good spirits. Good luck with the season this year Wildcats, and good luck Chan.

Baptism Day!!!

Today Chandler got baptized, and it was a great day. We had a good time with all of our family.

Chandler and his buddy Daylen were baptized on the same day and shared a family breakfast together after. These two boys have been friends since Robbie and I met. Glad they could share their day together.
We had a feast with lots of great breakfast food. My breakfast casseroles turned out good so I was happy for that.

JUNE FUN

So June was filled with fun. We did lots and enjoyed it all. I went with Robbie's Aunt and Cousin to the Backstreet Boys Concert and it was a blast! We sang and danced and I felt like I was 18 again being at there concert. Crazy but they still have a big following and of young girls still too.

Every year we go to Lagoon. It's not cool like Disneyland or anything but it's all Utah has. Chan was so daring this year. He went on lots of rollercoasters. Tons of fun and Rob and I were so proud.

We also took Chan to a Bee's game. It was freezing but we still had fun.
Chan is our little ball player, he loves going to games and sitting on the grass hoping to catch a homerun ball.

Rob and I are sad now cause for the last two weeks Chan has been in California with my sister and her kids. He is having lots of fun at the beach everyday and learning lots. We feel as if part of us is missing with him gone but he is experiencing so much and we are happy for that. So I won't have anything to post for July but oh well I guess. Chan we miss you and love you lots.

Ok I know it's been forever since I've posted anything. But we have been really busy. Chandler is a sports man. He is doing amazing in every sport he plays. Now baseball is a no brainer for him, it just come natural to him. He gets that from his Uncles.

This year he attempted soccer, and did very well. He even got into doing headers toward the goal. Crazy kid can do it all.
Next we add a new addition to the family, Mia and she is so sweet. Vander loves having a buddy around all the time.
We went on a Seamons family trip. And it was awesome. Everyone was there, grandkids and all. We all went to St. George to watch my brother in law and father do the Ironman. Let me tell you it was so much fun. We can't wait for our next little reunion.
Back to the sports, Chan also started wrestling. Robbie is his Coach and they have so much fun doing that together. We went every weekend to a tournament for the whole winter. Chan got first place a couple times, and now has a metals board that is covered in metals. I'm so proud of him for all his accomplishments.
And the most important thing that happened this year is Robbie got to adopt Chandler. It was the best day of my life, next to having Chandler and marrying Robbie. Chandler was so excited to change his name to Chandler Atkinson. I was so glad our families could share in that day with us. It was really a neat experience.

Birthday Time!!!

So we had some parties for Chandler's Birthday. It was so fun and he had a blast. Saturday we had a couple friends over. They did quite a lot. They did some dancing in Chandler's room to his new NOW31 CD.
Daylen pulled out some great break dancing moves.

PLayed some Football with Rob.

Ate some fabulous Cupcakes that I made.

We also went on a scavenger hunt looking for the villian in the town.

Here is a clue..."This tractor was way to small for our robber, but I saw him running towards the mailbox, Hurry and try to catch him."

We also played make the spider eat the bug. That was fun and James made it right on the bugs.

The party was fun, and chan also got to have a party with Robbies Family. He is one lucky boy, sunday we also got to hang with my family and he had one last party.

I would say he is one lucky boy with a big family who loves him very much!! Thanks to everyone for everything. We love you guys!

First Grade Yikes! Well for Mom it is.

So last week was Chandler's first day of school. I think I was more nervous. We started the morning off with a hot shower.
Moved on to a Good Breakfast with juice and toast and cereal.

First graders even have lockers at his school. And Blue is also one of his favorite colors, so he got lucky on that one.

Then it was off to the playground to find his friends.

This is where i was freaking out. He is so little and now is playing on the big playground with the older kids. I know it doesn't look like a lot of kids but the other half was packed. He is just growing so fast, and I miss my little boy. Channy momma says Stop growing! Love you and Good luck this year.

Fun on the 24th

So we started our day off with a kids parade that chandler was in. Here is Chan on his float waving his flag.

Vander came to watch Chan too, but had his sites on a new friend across the street. All he ever wants to do is play with other dogs and run.

Next on the agenda........

Reed Kat and Brynley came up to go to the derby with us. We had so much fun and I even got a kiss from my bryners.

The first round was the best, a car got hit so hard it flipped over on to its side. It was crazy.

OUR OREGON TRIP

So we went on a trip with Robbies family to Oregon. It was fun and we got to stay in an amazing farm house. This is the back patio area. The view was awesome.

We also went up the coast, here we are at Lincoln Beach. I wanted to get in but the water was freezing. And how cute is the writing in the sand!

The trip was fun, and thanks to my family for watching Chandler for us.

ABOUT A BOY AND HIS DOG!

So chandler loves his dog, and his dog loves him. They play with each other all the time. And the other night chand decided to color and Vander wanted to help.

He couldn't keep his paws off the page.

Guess he gave up cause chan wouldn't give him any markers. :(

Well I guess they just decided to take a little rest together, they so love each other.

HE IS THE SWEETEST KID EVER

So I'm the luckiest mom in the world. The other morning Chandler came into my room and said "Mom I made you a sandwich to take to work with you for lunch." It was so cute he had grape jelly smeared on his chin. I came down stairs and found that he had put it in a little baggie and he also cut it in half. I love that there is also a little finger print in the sandwich where he was holding it to cut it. I ate it at lunch and when I got home I told Chand that he makes a mean PB&J. He was so proud of himself that he said, "mom maybe I should start making sandwiches for dad to take too."

He is so cute and I honestly don't know how i got so lucky. I always said that I was gonna raise him to be a nice boy and I don't think I've had to do much he is just amazing all on his own. Chandler, dad and I love you so much and we think you are the best boy ever!!!

The Dining Table!!!

So Rob got our last table done. He did all three in about a week.

Sorry they are a little blurry, but you can still see how beautiful they are.

So if anyone needs some furniture built my husband is open for business!

All custom and perfect. Next is getting some chairs to match the table.

I love my new stuff and our house is looking great. Next is some paint on the walls and if anyone wants to help feel free! Thanks rob for the new stuff we love it!

The end table is done now and only a couple days after the tv stand.

Rob is on a roll and is loving making us some new pieces for our house. And today he started on our dining table. I'm the happiest one. So more pics to follow soon.

I know your jealous that I'm getting all this new handmade stuff! My husband is the best and I can't wait for my next new table.

So rob made us a new tv stand. The shelf will be in tomorrow but he did an amazing job on it. I love having something that he made by hand for our house. It makes me love it even more!

See it looks great. He is an amazing craftsman. And I know you all wish you had one! Next on his list is a new kitchen table for us so that we can dine in style. Thanks for the new stand babe. I love it and you too.

IT'S SUSHI TIME

So Robbie and I love sushi and thought we would try making our own. Not to brag at all but I rock at it! It turned out great and our friend Ben came to check it out. And he totally approved. Honestly it was really fun to do and we'll most likely do it again, so if anyone wants to come try some let us know. We are always down for some sushi!

So Robbie and I have been really busy. To start off Robbie killed an Elk so now we'll have some great steaks and jerky. Next we went on an anniversary trip to vegas, to bad everytime we went out I forgot my camera. We did get to see Adam and Valerie and our cute Little Peyti. She loved Robbie and would only call him Uncle Robbie. It was so cute. To end things off we went to a Halloween party with some friends. I was madonna and Rob was a Very Sexy Lunchlady! I know my outfit rocks, and its all compliments to Aunt Kelly. She made the bra and the jacket. We've had lots of fun lately. Hope we'll have more real soon.

CHANDLER'S BIRTHDAY!

So we went to the zoo for Chan's birthday. Everyone was there. We rode the carosel, and even saw a bear playing with his ball.

Also baby Layla got to take her first trip to the zoo with her whole family.

It was actually birthday week for chan, he took treats to school wednesday, the zoo thursday and dinner and a play friday. Lucky boy still has another party with dads family! We love you chan and Happy birthday, Hope ^ years is a good one. Love MOM AND DAD

So it is flag football time, and that means time for freezing games. But also Robbie getting to play with his brothers and friends. It is fun watching and getting to hang with the girls and chat. Today was chandler's first day of school. I'm sure it was harder for me than him. I was glad he knew a few kids there, and he has no problem making new friends. He was so excited about school until I got there after school to take him home and he was mad he wasn't riding the bus. So he tried to smile in the picture with his teacher even though he was upset with me. Guess I'll probably be the annoying mom, but it's hard to let my baby go.

How did I get so lucky?

So wednesday June 18 is a day I will never forget. I got a call around 2:30 from the cutest man I know named Bill. He asked to come visit me at work, and was I so happy to see him. As he was at work with me I talked him into staying for Chandler's T ball game. So Grandpa followed me home, saw our house and met our dog. While he was over he remembered a time when he and grandma had been driving up here and saw a little resturant. They didn't stop to eat cause they had just had lunch about an hour or so ago. So he asked if after the game we could go out to dinner there. Robbie and I went with him and had the time of our lives. He made jokes with the waitress, and just kept a smile on my face the whole time. It was amazing getting to spend the day with him and to hear his stories. Grandpa I love you more than you can ever know, and we are excited to do dinner again. This time at Outback or Ruby River, which ever you decide. I'm glad I got to share the day with him and go somewhere that reminded him of grandma. The Chicken Inn will always make me think of grandpa and our special day. Can't wait for our next date. So we went to Robbies cousins dairy farm and played with some animals. Chan got to hold a day old little lamb.
And bottle feed a baby calf, and man did that thing drink. I could hardly hold the bottle.
